Spit Bridge to Manly:

  • To spit bridge you will get by bus. You need to get off Spit Reserve, Spit Rd bus stop (no 208811).
  • Trekking time is 3-4 hours + beach time. The best time to start is 10 am.
  • Along the way, you will meet small, less crowded beaches. Don’t forget a towel!
  • The better part is the second part of the walk. Places which you need to stop for longer: Castle Rock Beach, Crater Cove Lookout, Washaway Beach.
  • Getting to Washaway Beach can be a little bit tricky as you need to stray from the main path and go off the beaten track. You need to go there! No people, just you and an amazing view!
  • If you reached Manly then congratulations for you! You’ve done it! The best return option is to catch the ferry to Circular Quay. The best view is during the sunset.
